Rebecca P. McIntyre (Counsel)
Ms. McIntyre has been practicing law for over twenty-five years and focuses her practice on product liability, medical device litigation, consumer and general business litigation, and employment law.
Prior to joining Sarrouf Law, LLP, Ms. McIntyre was a member of Weisman & McIntyre, P.C. in Boston, Massachusetts, and focused her practice on public school funding litigation against the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Indiana, and product liability litigation, including against the tobacco industry. Ms. McIntyre was an Assistant Attorney General under Scott Harshbarger and played a key role in the State’s recovery of $8 billion against the tobacco industry, the largest recovery in the Commonwealth’s history. Before moving to Massachusetts in 1993, Ms. McIntyre worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York, concentrating on securities fraud and ERISA litigation.
Ms. McIntyre has successfully argued appeals in the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She also has significant trial experience, including a seven-month trial in Massachusetts Superior Court challenging the adequacy of public school education in Massachusetts and trials involving defective products.
Upon graduating from Boston College Law School, Ms. McIntyre clerked for the Hon. W. Arthur Garrity, in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
